Oscars: After Party Fashion Guide

Beautiful evening gowns glided across one of Hollywood’s most prestigious events of year – The Oscars. Now, while the ensembles at the 89th Oscars were a true combination of class and elegance – absolutely post-worthy. I’m skipping the Oscars red carpet this year and going straight to the hottest looks from the Vanity Fair Party (The official after-party of the Oscars)! The Vanity Fair red carpet wins the award for the best-dressed party of the year! You’ll soon see why! These looks were absolutely stunning even more so than the Oscars red carpet.

One designer that stood out to me the most and takes the crown for the most memorable designer of the night is Zuhair Murad. The details that accompanied every dress worn by stars such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Tess Thompson, Kate Beckinsale, Nina Agdal, Jasmine Tookes, and Chanel Iman were breathtaking. Please see the looks below:

Other noteworthy designers from the night included Ralph & Russo, Versace, Cavalli Couture, Michael Kors, Dior Haute Couture, Tom Ford, and the ever so popular Elie Saab. The color palette of the night consisted of a lot of reds, golds, blacks, and white. My favorite color dress went to Kate Bosworth, who donned a J. Mendel dress reminiscent of a piece from Grace Kelley’s closet.

Drum roll, please! My favorite piece of the night is of course, a Zuhair Murad design worn by actress Kate Beckinsale. Why? It’s in my favorite color (black) and look at the details on the shoulders, the embellishment from the waist down is astonishing. Can we just take a second to admire this look one more time?

What was your favorite look of the night?
