Flowers bloom in fall/winter as long as you’re in Florida that is! I know it isn’t spring, but I couldn’t wait another 4 months to wear this little number. So, call this a preview into spring fashion if you must, but I absolutely love the silhouette of this dress; it fit’s like a glove at the waist then flows out perfectly. While this dress isn’t quite appropriate for the office due to obvious reasons such as the lace-up detail (which shows major cleavage) and the hem hitting mid-thigh (depending on your height), wearing this during a late lunch date would be your best bet. If your date goes into the wee hours of the night, simply throw on a nice leather jacket, paired with leather gladiator heels to spice up your look and give it what I call the “Ooh-La-La” effect.
Fun Fact: This dress actually came with a lace-up string that matches the dress, but since I couldn’t find it and I was in a rush; I opted to take a string from a blue lace-up top and used that instead. It added a pop of color and a nice little twist; sometimes last minute improvising can take your outfit to the next level.
Fast forward to 4 months from now, hello spring! Pair this mini flirty mini dress with tall, flat gladiator sandals or If the ground is still defrosting in your area pair it with some buckled booties. Final touches? Grab a denim vest to give it a city chic kind of vibe. Either way, there are multiple ways to style this hot floral mini.
