One of fall’s hottest color trends is taken straight from the title of one of my favorite movies, “Pretty in Pink”. That’s right, pink is making a comeback this season, but not just any particular shade of pink – I’m talking about blush. This delicate shade was seen gliding across the runways of the world’s top designers during fall fashion week such as Balmain, Alexander McQueen, Michael Kors, Givenchy, Carven, Kenzo, and Versace.
While this color is usually selected for spring, designers opted to incorporate this hue into their color palette for fall, but being careful to use this color only for autumn appropriate pieces such as turtle necks, woven pants, and jackets. If you live in a more tropical place like myself, you can mix this color into your everyday wardrobe by wearing a structured peplum top (as seen on me) with a pair of skinny jeans, add a pair of chunky heels (fall trend alert) to accentuate those legs – now that’ll definitely make them blush.
